UK’s first Bluelift SA22 Hybrid

UK rental company MBS Access has taken delivery of the country’s first 22 metre Bluelift SA22 Lithium Hybrid spider lift.

The new lift, purchased through distributor Height Lift & Shift (HLS), features 9.9 metres of outreach with the maximum 250kg platform capacity. Alternatively it can reach 10.9 metres with 200kg. The lift combines a lithium ion battery power with a Hatz diesel engine, for maximum versatility and efficiency, it weighs just under three tonnes.

MBS director of access Ben Dobson said: “We were impressed with Bluelift’s build process and their development approach and HLS were easy to work with, and always responsive.”

Based in Witham, Essex, MBS runs a fleet of CTE, Hinowa, CMC, Teupen and Multitel spider lifts, with working heights up to 36 metres. It also provides four separate IPAF accredited aerial work platform training courses.
