130 tonner for Empting

German crane and transport company Empting Kran und Handelsgesellschaft has taken delivery of a new 130 tonne LTM 1130-5.1 All Terrain crane.

The new five-axle crane features a 60 metre main boom plus a 33 metre bi-fold swing away extension and Liebherr’s VarioBase outrigger set up system. The new crane fits between the company’s existing 55 tonne, three axle LTM 1055-3.2 and 200 tonne, five axle LTM 1200-5.1 in a all Liebherr fleet.

Empting’s new Liebherr LTM 1130-5.1

Based in Cuxhaven, Northern Germany, family-run Empting employs just six staff members, and has provided heavy transportation lifting services since 1977. Owner Birgit Brending said: "I visited the Liebherr factory when I was a child in the 1970s and I am still a Liebherr fan today."
