Dingli Australian retrofit

Dingli Australia is well underway with the retrofit of additional counterweight to bring some of its earlier slab scissor lifts sold into Australia into line with Australian standards, for a full outdoor rating. See Dingli safety Alert
The company commissioned TuV Rheinland to carry out the stability testing of the retrofitted machines and certify their full conformity with Australian Standards. The retrofit involves the placement of around 100kg of additional counterweight into the chassis channels. It is also adding a brand new tilt alarm to bring the units which are pre-2014 up to date. The re-work is said to take around one hour to complete.

The last kits are due to arrive from China shortly and a company representative said that it is hoping to have all machines converted by the end of June.

It also attended this week’s Hire 16 show for the first time in order to be able to speak to customers and update them where necessary while demonstrating its new SO36-RS micro scissor lift.
