The company said the lift will be used in and around London in narrow streets that are a challenge for larger machines. The unit was purchased through Central Platform Services’ and follows its decision to extend its coverage to the South of England in January.Based in Kent, Instant Access has rented access equipment and supplied contracting services for over 20 years. Its fleet includes boom lifts, tracked boom lifts, scissor lifts, and truck mounts.

Colin Sutcliffe of Instant Access said: “The Dino product is very easy to use, appears very compact and well made. Quality was a major factor in purchasing this machine, as I expect the lifecycle of such a machine to be longer than that of a traditional platform. The decision was made easier when CPS took the decision to extend their services to the South of England with additional engineering resource. I very much look forward to showing all my customers what this machine is capable of in the future”.

John Burton director at CPS added: “A maintenance contract was very important to Colin in order to ensure the best up-time from his entire fleet, not just the Dinolift. We are better placed to provide this now that we have a Southern based engineer. The Dino was made available to Instant Access for extended demonstrations, as it will be for anyone interested in purchasing such a machine. The two year warranty and our on-going service provision should mean Colin & his team are making money from this Dino for many years to come”.

Comments

Well done Colin, will be interested how this works for you. We are getting very good returns on our Hinowa track drives and are really trying to hold the hire rates.

We will be checking the Dinosaur at Vertikal, be good if we could catch up and compare notes.

Best wishes to your team for the year ahead.
