TRT- Tidd Ross Todd subsidiary TRT (Aust) Pty has purchased the business interests of B&N Crane Repairs from current owners Troy and Anne Hand.

TRT has also taken over the distribution of Grove All Terrain and truck cranes and Manitowoc crawler cranes in Queensland and will operate from the existing Manitowoc Cranes facility at 1028 Lytton Road, Murarrie, a suburb of Brisbane. TRT has been a Grove distributor in New Zealand since the mid 1960s and mounted and began by mounting Grove TMS 180 superstructures on locally built Tidd chassis in 1967. The company opened its first office in Queensland in 2000, to support its growing heavy haulage trailer, crane and aerial lift manufacturing business.

In addition to taking over the Grove distribution in the region, it hopes that B&N acquisition will allow it to better support the region for all of its products.
