New Liebherr for Zimmermann

German rental company Zimmermann Autokrane has taken delivery of a new four axle 100 tonne Liebherr LTM 1100-4.2 All Terrain crane.

The new crane, purchased as part of a fleet expansion programme, has a 60 metre, five section main boom and is rated at three metres. Fitted with Liebherr’s VarioBase outrigger set up and remote control systems, the new machine is the company’s second LTM 1100-4.2 and joins a fleet of 12 Liebherr cranes with capacities up to 250 tonnes.

Headquartered in Kalkdarren, Southern Germany, Zimmermann has offered mobile crane rental and heavy transport services for over a decade. It has an access rental fleet of over eighty work platforms along with forklift trucks and offers BGR 500 and BGG 966 compliant training courses.

Managing director Stefan Zimmermann said: “The crane is flexible in use in the capacity classes from 60 to 100 tonnes. With maximum ballast it delivers extremely good duties.
