Crane operator falls

A crane operator fell around 15 metres from the tower crane he operates in Gençay to the South of Poitiers in France yesterday.

The release by the local fire and rescue service said that the man was in his 60s but did not elaborate on how he manged to fall, although we understand that he had been climbing the tower or preparing to descend it and may have slipped or suffered a medical emergency. He remained conscious during the rescue but was reported to be seriously injured. The crane appears to be a free standing counterweighted top slewer.

There isn't much information to go with to discern how to pray for this man other than to pray for recovery and return to level health and to pray for his family and colleagues.
