ALC's five 16 metre Dinolift 160XTII trailer mounted lifts offer an outreach of nine metres

The 160XTII offers an outreach of nine metres and a maximum platform capacity of 215kg. Weighing almost two tonnes, the standard specification includes 360 degree continuous slew, and 180 degrees of platform rotation. The 1.25 metre wide chassis has a working width of 3.8 metres with outriggers set.

The platforms have been customised with around 20 additional items, including adjustable towing height, military green paintwork and LED traffic and work lights. Dinolift’s UK partner Central Platform Services helped with the transaction providing pre-delivery inspection, initial LOLER inspections and the client handover.

Dinolift’s UK sales manager Teemu Ristelä said: “The working height was one of the key requirements we started with. This was followed by number of different customer requested requirements. The finished product shows what we can do when customer specifications are outside the standard options list. We feel privileged to have been offered the possibility to supply ALC and the UK MoD and look forward to future cooperation.”

One of the units will be exhibited by Dinolift at Vertikal Days in June.

Just goes to proves the value of having a holistic purchase strategy. When you asses equipment at technical level and look past the lowest common denominator being just the price, it's frequently the marginal brands that provide the best option, the MOD would never opt for anything other than the finest kit, well done Dino, clearly you have some great products.
