The Sennebogen 7700 - working on the 5,000 tonne Oleg Strashnov - has a 46.7 metre boom and equipped with two 200kN crane hoists, allowing it to make lifts up to 60 tonnes to any position on the ship's deck. Both master winches are equipped with an emergency Load Release System which complies with the stricter safety offshore requirements.

The crane has been equipped with additional ballast and special paint for offshore operation. In order to bypass the diesel engine in case of an emergency, an electro-hydraulic emergency unit was added allowing all crane functions to be operated under full load if necessary.

For installation and maintenance tasks, the crane is equipped with a three tonne aerial work platform winch. Other features include a 4.5 metre elevated operator's cab which can also be tilted 20 degrees.

The second machine - the Sennebogen 5500 - is currently used onshore at the company’s stockyard but in the near future will be installed on the Stanislav Yudin.
