Outriggerpads expands Hi Viz range

Shropshire, UK based Outriggerpads has expanded its Hi Viz range with two new outrigger spreader mats with capacities of 30 and 60 tonnes.

Weighing less than 22kg, the 40mm thick, 30 tonne capacity mat measures 750mm x 750mm and replaces the previous 20 tonne mat. The new 60mm thick, 1,000mm circular 60 tonne mats weigh 45kg and with integrated handles are said to be easy to handle.

With its florescent yellow colour to warn of trip hazards, the mats are manufactured from high density polyethylene (HDPE) which is resistant to water, oil and chemicals and unlike metal or wooden spreader plates, there is no risk of corrosion or splintering.

Heavy transport dismantling, movement and installation company J. Exley is first to use the pads with its Volvo-mounted Fassi loader crane fleet.

How likely is it that someone would not see the truck and trailer but see a small, in comparison, pad on the ground ? You are selling a gimmick while trying to put down the use of proper crane steel mats. Which chemical does your pads protect against compared to steel ?
