Bovis telehandler deal for Ardent

UK based Ardent Hire Solutions, formed later last year from the merger of Fork Rent and One Call Hire, has signed a three year multi million pound contract with Bovis Homes for the supply of telehandlers.

As part of the deal Ardent Hire will purchase some older Bovis Homes’ telehandlers and replace them with new rental machines from the Ardent fleet. The deal will kick off with an initial tranche of 30 machines being replaced with new JCB 535-125, 535-140 and 540-170.

Ardent will replace older Bovis telehandlers with new JCBs from its fleet

Ardent will continue to buy out Bovis Homes’ telehandlers and replace them with new equipment throughout the three year contract. Ardent will then sell the older machines, in order to maintain the average age of its fleet which is currently around two years.
