New premises for Maltech

Austrian aerial lift and telehandler rental company Maltech has broken ground on a new purpose-built facility in Vienna, having outgrown its current premises.

The official ground breaking ceremony took place on Monday, at the 10,000 square metre site on Laxenburger Straße a main road in Vienna’s 23rd district. The new buildings will include offices, modern state of the art workshops for both aerial lifts, telehandlers and fork trucks. The construction is due to be completed in the autumn.

Maltech breaks ground on its new facilities in Vienna


Latech has rented premises in the Kolpingstraße since 1987, from which is serves customers in Vienna, Lower Austria and Burgenland. With every part of the site used to capacity and no further extension possible the company decided that it was time to look for a new location.

The company operates from five locations across Austria, one in Hungary and one in Slovakia.

Maltech's current facilities in Kolpingstraße, Vienna


Chief executive Gregor Klopf said: " We are very happy to have found this location, which is only about five minutes from our old office. The location is particularly ideal for those customer who are used to collecting machines such as small truck mounted lifts from us. The will have no difficulties finding the new yard”.
