Fatal fall from crane

An electrician working on an overhead crane at a General Motors plant in Defiance – between Fort Wayne and Toledo, Ohio fell around seven metres on this Tuesday.

The man Terry Bodenbender,50, was working at a GM casting plant when he fell into a coke pit below, suffering fatal injuries. It took emergency services several hours to recover the body. And he was declared dead at the scene.
Osha is investigating the incident.
