Four 500t Liebherrs for Amquip

US based AmQuip Crane Rental has ordered four new 500 tonne Liebherr LR 1500 crawler cranes, the first order from an American buyer.

The crane was unveiled at Liebherr’s Customer Days last June See new 500 tonne crawler from Liebherr It features a compact suspended counterweight system, making it as compact to operate as many 400 tonne crawlers.

Delivery of the four Amquip machines will begin at the end of the first quarter 2017 with the first unit due to be featured on the Liebherr stand at ConExpo 2017. Another two units will be delivered later in the year, with the final one arriving in 2018.
