Liebherr Canada expands

Liebherr Canada has completed the expansion of its facility in Burlington, Ontario and promoted Tim Petersen to MD.

It has also completed and opened a new component remanufacturing facility in Acheson, Alberta for its mining products.

The Burlington facility expansion includes a completely new equipment painting facility and a new, larger central spare parts warehouse. The Burlington facility is the company’s headquarters and one of 11 locations across Canada.

The company has also promoted Tim Petersen to managing director of Liebherr Canada, he was previously product manager cranes for Liebherr Canada and joined the company in 1986. He joins Liebherr Canada president Paul Robson as a director of Liebherr Canada. The two will jointly lead the company that currently employs over 330.
