Pierre Brorsson

A Swedish national, Brorsson joins the company from a 20 year career with Atlas Copco, most recently as vice president business development. Previous roles have largely been financial having joined the business in 1996 as controller for the group’s Rock Drill division.

In essence it looks as though the company is almost returning to its previous senior management structure, just over a year after it "simplified" its reporting structure by dividing the country operations into two. See Ramirent simplifies structure

The changes include:
Ramirent Finland will report to Mikael Kämpe who is currently responsible for Europe Central.

Heiki Onton, currently managing the Baltics, will become executive vice president Baltics, plus Central Europe from the end of March.

Jonas Söderkvist, previously chief financial officer will be executive vice president, Sweden and Denmark.

Øyvind Emblem, becomes executive vice president, Norway.

East Europe will continue to be represented by Anna Hyvönen until her departure.

The ‘Executive Management Team’ for the first quarter will therefore be made up as follows:
Magnus Rosén – chief executive
Pierre Brorsson, chief financial officer – from January
Dino Leistenschneider, executive vice president, fleet and sourcing
Jonas Söderkvist, executive vice president, Sweden and Denmark
Øyvind Emblem, executive vice president, Norway
Anna Hyvönen, executive vice president, North Central Europe
Mikael Kämpe, executive vice president, Finland from April
Heiki Onton, executive vice president, Baltics plus Europe Central from April

The more junior 'Management Team' will now comprise five senior vice presidents responsible for specific product areas: Temporary Space, Sales, Marketing, HR and IT.

Chief executive Magnus Rosén said: “I am very pleased that we have been able to fill the important positions of executive vice president for both Finland and Europe Central with very strong internal candidates."

Vertikal Comment

Ramirent has in the past couple of years managed to appear to be in a constant state of flux, in terms of management structure and senior management changes. Deciphering what was really happening with the latest change was far from simple.

Hopefully the return to a slightly more logical senior management team is a sign that the stability will return and the company will resume the strong performance levels that it enjoyed up until 2013?
