Isle of Wight-based Island Crane Hire has taken delivery of a Bocker AK35-3000 on the MAN TGM 8.18 carrier.

Conrad Parker, managing director concluded the deal while visiting the Böcker factory in Werne, Germany. The AK35-3000 which has a maximum boom/jib combination of 35 metres, can lift 250kg to 27 metres and has the optional 250kg capacity access platform with 110 volt power, working lights to the carrier and LED lights on the outrigger jacks.

“Due to certain operating restrictions on the Island the crane has several advantages over the usual mobile cranes on offer,” said Parker. “Ultra-low outrigger loadings, reduced operational and travelling costs and the security of buying from one of the industries most respected dealers, all helped to influence our buying decision.”
