On top of the roof

Spotted yesterday on the embassy of the Netherlands in Copenhagen, men standing around on the roof with little to no edge protection.

While the roof is far from steep, it is around 12 metres up, and an inadvertent step to close to the edge could prove fatal.

Then this morning, five people were spotted having a site meeting on the same roof, only this time in the rain. While nowhere near the unsafe work practices normally covered in our Death Wish series it does qualify as poor work practice, as delegates to IPAF’s Europlatform conference would only be too ready to point out.
