A tribute to victims of terrorism

Today is the 14th anniversary of the destruction of the World Trade Centre in New York and the loss of thousands of lives.

In Egan Minnesota, Phillippi Equipment which also trades as Truck Crane Service is holding its annual commemoration in honour of all those people who have lost their lives from such cowardly acts of terrorism around the world. A tribute that company owner Tony Phillippi has organised every year since 2001.

This year the giant US flags are flying from two veteran lattice truck cranes, – a 125 ton American 7530 and a 90 ton American 7460, both rigged with 36.6 metres/120ft of main boom and Hammerhead tips. The flags will fly fully illuminated until Monday.
