New HQ for IAPS

IAPS – owner of UK based Access Platform Sales (APS), Independent Parts Specialist (IPS), Platform Service and Repair (PSR) and Outriggerpads – has moved into new headquarters following the merger of IPS and APS and its recent decision to enter the van-mounted lift market.

The three acre site on the Hortonwood business park in Telford, Shropshire, is double the size of its previous headquarters and includes a large yard, offices, meeting rooms, workshops and a spare parts warehouse. The workshops have also been equipped with five and 16 tonne overhead cranes, along with four vehicle lifts, which will facilitate the mounting of Aldercote booms – see: APS teams up with Aldercote.

IAPS group managing director Steve Couling, said: “The new premises – more than double the size of our old site – provide our people with a great working environment and room for us to continue to grow. Our investment in the workshop cranes and vehicle lifts also demonstrates how serious we are about becoming a major player in the van-mounted boom lift sector. All the building blocks are in place ready for the launch of the exciting new product line later this year.”
