Manitou commits to NTP Sydney

Manitou Australia has signed a long term distribution agreement with NTP Forklifts Australia to handle the sales and service of Manitou telehandlers in the Greater Sydney region, including Newcastle and Wollongong.

NTP was founded in Brisbane in 1983 and now operates from six locations around Australia, it also handles TCM and Jungheinrich forlifts, together with Kalmar and Taylor Dunn products. The company has sold and supported Manitou products for many years and this agreement extends its territory and formalises the long term partnership aspect of the relationship.

Manitou Australia’s managing director Stuart Walker said: “From the

We have an in-depth knowledge of this world class product in both sales and aftersales support, and have grown up with Manitou in the Australian rough terrain market from its
infancy. We have been involved in selling and maintaining the complete range of Manitou equipment, from 2.5 tonne rough terrain forklifts to 25 tonne telescopic handlers and everything in between. Additionally we have always offered our customers a range of operating options such as short and long term hire, or straight out purchase to meet their project requirements. We are very excited about the addition of the Manitou product to our NSW operation which now completes our ability to support the product throughout the eastern and southern states of Australia”.
