Family fund raising

UK crane industry brothers Lloyd, Sean and William Nyland and sister Gariele are cycling and running for charity and have so far managed to raise over £8,600 for the Winnicott Foundation, which supports specialist care for premature babys.

Sean and William work for UK crawler crane specialist Delden CSE, while Lloyd, owns mini crane specialist Compact Crawler Crane Company. The three recently completed a sponsored bike ride from London to Paris, while sister Gabrielle was sponsored to run the London Marathon.

Lloyd Nyland's daughter was born in March 2014 and immediately admitted to the Special Care Baby Unit at St Marys Hospital, Paddington. After a week in the intensive care unit she was strong enough to move to a normal ward and is now thriving. Donations raised from the bike ride and the marathon will go to support the creation of a parent and family residential unit next to the SCBU so families are able to stay on the unit while their babies are in intensive care.

The total raised so far is £8,629.80 To learn more about the Winnicott Foundation click thuis link. www.winnicott.org.uk
