Big Jekko for mover

Dutch international industrial moving and lifting company G. van Harten has taken delivery of a new Jekko SPX1275CDH tracked mini crane.

The Jekko SPX1275CDH is quite compact when stowed, thanks to retracting tracks

The company, which is based in Veenendaal purchased the crane from Jekko dealer Hocap, which had purchased the first unit of this crane from Jekko Click here to see first Jekko SPX1275CDH
The company plans to use the new crane for industrial removals, the crane - the company’s second Jekko - is equipped with a 19.1 metre main boom and 7.55 metre articulating four section telescopic jib, for a combined length of 26.6 metres.

G. van Harten has taken the crane with a full specification

The crane can handle 1.5 tonnes on the jib, or 7.5 tonnes on the main boom, or two tones pick & carry through 360 degrees. Power comes from both an isuzu diesel and a three phase electric motor.

Gert van Harten started out as a crane operator and after progressing through the ranks at a number of crane companies, started out with his own business in June 1986, originally Mobiel Transport BV, three years later he changed the company name to G. van Harten. The company now works on a worldwide basis, mostly on industrial plant relocations, but also challenging heavy rigging jobs.
