Ruthmann appoints Amco for Spain

Ruthmann has appointed, Amco Machinery & Consulting as its distributor for aerial lift products in Spain.

Amco, which is based in Gijon, Northern Spain, will be responsible for all Ruthmann sales and marketing activities in the country. The company specialises in selling, exporting, appraising and remarketing heavy equipment, mostly used cranes and large work platforms.

Chief executive Bert Wiegel said: “We are extremely happy to be Ruthmann’s Spanish representatives. The Ruthmann brand name stands for excellent quality, maximum safety, and top performance, in short German quality at its finest.”

Uwe Strotmann of Ruthmann added, “With Amco as our new partner in Spain, we will be able to solidify our export objectives in southern Europe, attract new customers, and expand our market share. The company has an incredible amount of know-how. This Spanish company is not new to us. Our affiliate, Ruthmann Finance, has worked with Amco for several years, buying and selling used machinery.”
