M&M takes two

UK based M&M Mobile Crane Hire has taken delivery of two 40 tonne Terex AC40/2L two axle All Terrain cranes

The AC40/2L features a 37.4 metre main boom plus an eight metre extension, providing a maximum system length of 45.4 metres. Part of an on-going investment and expansion programme, the new cranes have replaced two Terex city cranes purchased back in 2003 and 2004.

Brian Tierney of M&M, said: “We decided to ‘do the double’ primarily because of the AC 40/2L’s 37 metre full powered boom. We also liked the compactness of the crane combined with its low headroom ability. They will be available for general duties anywhere in the UK and we fully expect them to enjoy a high utilisation rate.”

Julian Dyer, of Terex Cranes UK added: “We have always appreciated our healthy relationship with M&M - in particular their openness and practical approach. So much so, they have been invited to join, and are involved in, the company’s product development programme.”
