Claas to move to Liebherr

Liebherr will be the new supplier of Claas telehandlers, when its current deal with Wacker Neuson/Kramer expires in 2018.

The OEM agreement with Liebherr “provides for the development, production and supply of significant quantities of telehandlers from 2018 onwards”.

Liebherr will continue to sell and market its range of telehandlers under its own brand, particularly in the construction and industrial markets, while Claas will sell its versions of the Liebherr built telehandlers to all sectors, but with a particular focus on agricultural markets, where it has a strong distributor network. The Liebherr telehandler range, built in Telfs, Austria, is currently limited to mid-range straight models but is likely to be expanded to include compact models before the start of the Claas deal in 2018.
