Fire destroys boom truck

The operator of a boom truck offloading and placing roof trusses managed to get clear of the crane as it caught fire yesterday in Seattle, Washington.

The fire really took hold

What caused the fire is uncertain, although it was working in close proximity of overhead power lines. Thankfully this time no one was hurt. The Seattle Fire Department arrived promptly and managed to extinguish the fire before it caused any damage to surrounding properties.
