Weldex adds to Liebherr order

UK-based crane rental company Weldex has ordered eight more Liebherr LTR telescopic crawler cranes in addition to its order for 10 crawler cranes finalised at Intermat.

The first five cranes - which included two LR 1100s, an LR1130, a 160 tonne LR1160 and a 250 tonne LR1250 - were ordered at the end of last year and have now been delivered. The second order for five placed at Intermat included an LR1130, three LR1250s and one LR1300.

Weldex has also ordered eight LTR cranes which will be delivered this year including the LTR1060 recently displayed at Intermat and Vertikal Days.
