Imperial expands fleet

US crane rental company, Imperial Crane Services, has ordered eight new mobile cranes, in a deal worth $10.5 million.

The full list of cranes in the new order include: two 40 ton Terex T-340-1 three axle truck cranes, two 60 tonne Grove GMK 3060 three axle All Terrains, one four axle 100 tonne Grove GMK4115 L All Terrain, one 150 tonne Grove, GMK 5165-2 five axle All Terrain and two 300 tonne six axle Grove GMK6300L All Terrains.

The Grove cranes were supplied by distributor Walter Payton Power Equipment.
Imperial said that it felt that this is the right time to make a substantial commitment to purchase this equipment in order to meet its forecast of an upbeat crane rental and sales market beginning this year. It says that it also reflects its confidence for long term growth. The cranes selected are suitable

Based in Bridgeview Illinois, Imperial crane was founded over 45 years ago, the new additions take the Imperial Crane fleet to more than 250 cranes, ranging from 18 to 600 tons.
