Ramirent and NCC explore co-operation

Ramirent and NCC ViaSafe - the traffic management division of major contractor NCC - have signed a letter of intent to explore possibilities to cooperate in road and traffic safety.

Ramirent has rented out traffic safety equipment for many years and recently added other related services such as traffic arrangement planning. The expanded services and 200 strong depot network across the Nordic region, creates what the two companies refer to as “interesting cooperation opportunities”. No details of how this might work have been given.

Rami chief executive Magnus Rosén said: “We are very happy about the confidence our companies have in one another. We see good synergies in working together with NCC ViaSafe to develop road and traffic safety”.

Hans Säll, business development coordinator at NCC Roads added: “NCC has organised its Nordic traffic safety business under the trademark NCC ViaSafe. In addition to our existing cooperation, we will now study the possibilities for NCC Viasafe and Ramirent to complement one another successfully in offering products and services within road and traffic safety in all Nordic countries”.
