Third SC location for H&E

H&E Equipment has opened a new location in Summerville, near Charleston, South Carolina, to primarily cover the eastern South Carolina area.

The new branch is the third in the state along with Greenville and Columbia, taking its national branch network to 71 locations. The 1,500 square metre remodelled facility is located on a 3.5 acre site with offices, a parts warehouse and an eight bay workshop and is close to I-26 to the North West of Charleston.

The branch will focus on aerial lifts, telehandlers, and general equipment from Genie, JLG Skyjack, Skytrak and Wacker Neuson among others.

Branch manager Mark Forsyth said: “We are extremely pleased to increase our presence in South Carolina. Our research of this area clearly indicates that customers are looking for the full-service approach to the equipment business that H&E provides. We specialise in rentals, sales, parts and service. Our turnkey model helps to simplify equipment for customers. As the Charleston area economy continues to grow in the manufacturing, construction and industrial markets, we are committed to expand right along with it and provide the resources that equipment customers depend on.”
