MBS takes UK first
UK rental company MBS Access has taken delivery of the first 25.7 metre Hinowa Lightlift 26.14 Performance IIIS spider lift in the UK from local distributor APS.
Unveiled at Intermat and launched at Vertikal Days, the 26.14 features a dual sigma type riser, three section telescopic boom and articulated jib which offers an outreach of 13.6 metres, an up and over height of 10 metres and an unrestricted platform capacity of 230kg. The machine’s overall width is 990mm and it has an overall length of under six metres when the platform is removed, and an overall height just under two metres. Features include multi-position outriggers, automatic levelling, non-marking tyres and a three-speed drive train.
MBS Access director Ben Dobson, said: “We were really impressed with the 26.14 on our visit to Hinowa’s factory in Italy. It has the superb performance and build quality we have come to expect from a Hinowa machine. This is a great addition to our range as it fills a gap between our 23 and 30 metre tracked machines. It will be welcomed by our customers, many of whom are already familiar with Hinowa booms and confident in their operation.”

Officially handed over at Vertikal Days, APS also received a number of other orders for Hinowa spider lifts, including a 20 metre lithium Hinowa 20.10 from Milton Keynes based Elavation and a 17 metre Lightlift 17.75 from Essex-based Cannon Access.
