AC 100 for Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi-based heavy lifting and haulage company Abu Nasir General Transport has taken delivery of a 100 tonne Terex AC 100/4L All Terrain crane.

The compact four-axle AC100 features a 59.4 metre main boom plus a 10 to 19 metre bi-fold swingaway extension, providing an on board tip height of 81.7 metres. The 2.55 metre wide unit has an overall height of 3.9 metres and features hydraulic luffing of the extension. It will be used in the oil and gas industry throughout the United Arab Emirates.

Abu Nasir operations manager Asif Salim, said: “We chose this machine for its quality and performance. At just 2.55 metres wide, it’s also the most compact machine in its class, which is extremely important when working in the confined spaces of the oil and gas sector. The crane is also easy to operate and provides a high level of comfort, visibility and information for the operator, in addition to being the most flexible with the longest boom extensions.”
