Terex chief executive Ron DeFeo said: “We are celebrating two milestones in the history of Terex. I would like to thank our customers and team members, who have made Montceau-les-Mines what it is today: a site where innovation is built on proven expertise and cooperation.”

Steve Filipov, president Terex Material Handling & Port Solutions, added: “It was with the acquisition of the site 20 years ago that we first entered the port technology business. At that time, Montceau-les-Mines manufactured All Terrain cranes and reach stackers. These reach stackers were our first machines. Since then, Terex has extended its portfolio and with the TPS business group created in 2012, we are now a leading provider of system solutions for the ports of the world.”
