AFI gains security accreditation

UK rental company AFI has achieved accreditation to ISO 27001:2013, the international standard for global information security management.

AFI IT director Chris Jowett, said: "Gaining this accreditation highlights that we have robust procedures and security in place to protect our systems and data. Having ISO 27001 is also a significant plus point when tendering because it is being increasingly requested, particularly by large companies and public sector customers."

"We gained the standard in just four months, which according to our consultant was the quickest he had seen. We were able to achieve it so quickly because we already had the majority of its requirements in place.”
