CPA open meeting

The UK’s Construction Plant-hire Association (CPA) will hold its Strategic Forum Plant Safety Group open meeting on 17th June.

Held at the Nuthurst Grange Hotel in Hockley Heath, Warwickshire, the meeting will focus on its new project to produce guidance on inadvertent operation of controls. Primarily concerned with telehandlers and plant machinery, the meeting will invite contributions from owners and operators in order to better understand the main causes behind incidents. The project will not however address inadvertent use of remote controls, or issues concerning aerial work platforms.
