Dedicated centre for UTN Training

UK based UTN Training, part of the AFI group, has opened a new training centre at Normanton, Wakefield, offering dedicated training facilities in premises that are twice the size of its previous depot-based training operation.

Located close to the M62 motorway, the new centre will offer IPAF and PASMA working at height training.

The centre boasts classrooms seating up to 30 delegates with a large area inside area for practical sessions, so that all training can be carried out on machines and towers both indoors as well as outdoors, enabling training to continue whatever the weather.

Training manager Brian Kirkbride said: “By moving our training operation from a depot to a dedicated training centre we can now provide high quality training in far better facilities.”
