Riwal doubles fleet investment

Riwal, the Dutch/International aerial lift and telehandler rental specialist, plans to invest €80 million on its rental fleet this year, having spent approximately €40 million in 2014.

The company will purchase more than 3,000 platforms and telehandlers from a range of suppliers, including JLG, Genie and Holland Lift. New models will include 10 units of JLG’s 185ft 1850SJ boom lifts as well as hybrid machines such as the JLG H340AJ and Holland Lift HL-275 H25. Also included in the planned investment are Genie’s Z33/18 and the Z62/40 boom lifts. Around 40 percent of the investment will also be used to support the company’s international growth strategy.

With this investment in the Riwal rental fleet we continue to offer a newer, more diverse and versatile equipment range. The capital expenditure supports our international growth plans and enables us to deliver the best customer experience and the highest levels of safety.”
