Another crane fire

A crane caught fire yesterday while travelling on the Dundee to Aberdeen road near Forfar, Scotland.

The crane, a six axle unit owned by James Jack - part of the Ainscough group, was travelling north on the A90 when the fire started in the engine compartment. It took the fire service a couple of hours to extinguish the flames and make it safe. It is not know at this time how extensive the damage is.
