Versalifts for Deutsche Bahn

German railway company Deutsche Bahn has taken delivery of two 14.3 metre Versalift VT-145-F truck mounted lifts from the company’s German distributor Ruthmann.

Mounted on a 7.49 tonne MAN chassis, the heavy duty models offer an outreach of up 9.6 metres and a maximum platform capacity of 230kg. Features include up to 200 degrees of jib articulation, straight down H-style outriggers and FPC electro-hydraulic controls. The MAN chassis also feature a double cab and custom made aluminium toolboxes. Both units will be used to inspect rail bridges throughout Germany.
