Skyjack 30 for 30

Skyjack is to celebrate the 30th anniversary of its founding, with a charitable/good causes programme dubbed 30 for 30 Partners.

The company is seeking 30 worthwhile projects to support from around the world, which ideally would benefit from the use of a Skyjack machine or some other kind of support such as parts supplies or repairs. The machines or support will be supplied through Skyjack customers, with Skyjack covering the costs, up to $2,500 per project.

Beneficiaries might include:
• charitable organisations
• museums
• hospitals
• historical societies
• military veteran charities

Or organisations that:
• restore historical places or items
• help with poverty prevention
• environmental protection
• education equality

For example, it could be a local charity shelter in need of renovation, an educational facility needing a Skyjack machine for classes, or a historical monument that’s in need of a facelift.

In the past, Skyjack has supported projects such as loaning a SJ63 AJ articulating boom to assist The Arboretum, University of Guelph in Guelph, Ontario, to preserve rare trees including the Cucumber Tree - the first tree in Canada to be listed as endangered.

President Brad Boehler said: “We are grateful that our customers, communities and the industry have supported us consistently, allowing us to get where we are today—one of the world’s leading suppliers of access equipment. As such, we want to use the occasion to give something back. And the best way we can think to do this is via the company, the products and, most important, the customers that mean so much to us. We will consider all ideas and choose them upon their merit.”
