Palazzani spiders for Egypt

Palazzani has delivered two 30 metre Rango TSJ 30.1/R hybrid spider lifts to two major projects in Cairo, Egypt.

The diesel/electric TSJ 30.1 features a five section main boom and a 2.5 metre articulated jib which offers 13 metres of outreach and a 230kg maximum platform capacity. Features include automatic levelling, variable outrigger positions and a gradeability of 40 percent.

The first TSJ 30.1 spider lift has been delivered to Cairo International Airport and will be used to assist with the construction of a new terminal, following the completion of Terminal 3. The second TSJ 30.1 has been delivered to planning and design consultants Dar Al-Handasah and will be used to maintain the company’s headquarters. Located in Cairo, the 41,800 square metre headquarters were designed by Perkins+Will and house up to 2,000 employees.
