Ramirent simplifies structure

Ramirent is changing its management structure effective immediately, in order it says “to strengthen its capability to execute the company's strategy and increase synergies through a more integrated management structure”.

The main change is to divide the business into two areas - Scandinavia and North Central Europe - rather than the previous six countries/regions. The company will continue to report its financial results under the six country regions.

Chief executive Magnus Rosén will head the Scandinavia market area which includes Sweden, Denmark and Norway, while Anna Hyvönen, currently head of Finland and Baltic, is appointed executive vice president North Central Europe, covering Finland, Europe East and Europe Central.

Other executive management team members are Jonas Söderkvist, chief financial officer and Dino Leistenschneider, executive vice president of sourcing and fleet management.

The group management team includes those above, plus Erik Alteryd, Sweden and Denmark; Øyvind Emblem who takes over Norway in April; Heiki Onton, Baltic; Mikael Kämpe, Europe Central; Franciska Janzon, marketing communications; Peggy Hansson, human resources, health and safety and finally Mats Munkhammar.

"With the new management structure, we can accelerate the execution of the group strategy and we also see that we can find better synergies between the businesses,” says Rosén.
