Hiab to launch largest loader crane

Hiab has announced the launch of its biggest loader crane to date - the 90 tonne/metre X-HiPro 1058

When fitted with a jib the 1058 offers a maximum radius of 34.5 metres and a height of 38 metres, making it well suited for lifting heavy and bulky materials. Developed for easy installation, it features an integrated bolted sub-frame, base mounted oil tank and integrated auxiliary legs, all which contribute to reduced installation times and costs.

Features include the company’s new Variable Stability Limit+ system which automatically uses any extra load on the chassis as counterweight, as well as the position of the outriggers to calculate the crane’s lifting capacity. Its Load Stability System (LSS) system also automatically compensates for unintentional movements during lifting, for example, dampening movements if a control lever is hastily released. Finally, the company claims its new nine metre chain driven outrigger system, which features one extension cylinder and two telescopic extension beams are 50 percent faster to set.

The company has said the X-HiPro 1058 is the first in a series of launches for its heavy lift range.
