Tat Hong exits Flo-Line

Singapore based Tat Hong has sold its holding in Flo-Line Hydraulics for $259,000.

Tat Hong held a significant position in Flo-Line through a typically complex series of subsidiaries (Tat-Hong Flo-Line -Flo-Line Hydraulics and Flo-Line Holdings which held 40% of Flo-Line) but in effect only owned around 12 percent of the total equity of Flo-Line.

Flo-Line was established in 2007 to remanufacture, repair and test hydraulic components of all types of construction related equipment. Tat Hong says that the business generated to date has not met its expectations, while Flo-Line has remained a loss making operation and does not expect to see any significant improvement in the immediate future.

Tat Hong said: “The Company does not expect any significant improvement in Flo-Line’s business prospects going forward. The divestment of Flo-Line is also in line with the Company’s on-going exercise to streamline its investments and focus resources on its core business of crane rental”.

Singapore based Flo-Line also distributes a wide range of hydraulic equipment, including Parker, Hawe, White and Hydraforce.
