Böcker confirms new MD

Following the unexpected passing of Böcker chief executive Robert Böcker
(Robert Böcker 1953-2014), the aluminium crane, lift and hoist manufacturer has confirmed that his son, Alexander Böcker, will formally take over as managing director.

Alexander, 31, was scheduled to take over from his father in 2016, following his planned retirement, and is the third generation to run the family business. He has been a member of the supervisory board since its introduction in 2005, prior to which he worked as a management consultant and most recently as a manager at Volkswagen in Wolfsburg. He will be supported by Jen te Kaat, who is currently joint-managing director, with the intention of becoming chief executive in the future.
