New MD for Ramirent Norge

Øyvind Emblem, 44, has been appointed managing director of Ramirent Norway and will join the group management team as a senior vice president effective April 2015.

Emblem joins Ramirent from Arcus Gruppen, where he has been global sales director Spirits since 2013. Prior to that he held several international management positions at Michelin, including managing director of Michelin Benelux from 2009 to 2012, country manager of Michelin Korea between 2007 and 2009 and sales manager of Michelin Nordic from 2004 to 2006. Before that he spent four years as manufacturing manager for ODIM Hitec, which he joined after a two year stint as a consultant at McKinsey & Company, Norway.

Emblem succeeds Bjørn Larsen who left Ramirent this summer. Chief executive Magnus Rosén, will continue as interim managing director for the Norwegian business until April.
