Training platform overturns

A bucket truck used for training linesmen at North Georgia Technical College overturned yesterday near Clarkesville, Georgia.

The aerial lift was being driven on the road by a student with the training instructor riding in the passenger seat. The vehicle was also towing a trailer at the time when it ran off the road and rolled onto its side.

The overturned bucket truck

The trainer was taken to hospital, having sustained injuries as the vehicle rolled, while the student was unhurt. The lift and its trailer were recovered by a large wrecker truck.
