UK tower crane strike suspended

The union representing HTC tower crane operators has called off the second strike planned for tomorrow in the face of an improved offer from the company.

The operators had approved three one day strikes to be held on three subsequent Fridays in November, starting on the 7th, but talks earlier this week appear to have created enough common ground for the second and third to at least be suspended.
