PASMA Tower Week

The UK based mobile access tower association PASMA is holding its national Tower Week campaign next week.

Running from 10th to the 14th November, the campaign is intended to ensure that people using towers know the importance of staying safe and using the right equipment. As part of the week it has designed a Tower Test to test knowledge on the most common issues that HSE inspectors find on a job site. For each completed test, PASMA will donate £1 to the Children in Need charity. It is also running its ‘Tragically Terrible/Truly Terrific Towers’ programme, highlighting the best and worst examples of tower usage, with PASMA experts commenting on them before marking them out of 10.

The activities are centred around its website –towerweek.pasma.org.uk – the association will provide a range of advice highlighting safe working practices. The week will also be marked by the release of the latest Tower Safety Packs including a wide range of knowledge and information for when working at height.
